Whiteinch Move On Service

Whiteinch Move On Service provides temporary accommodation for adults recovering from substance use.

Our aim is to help you to sustain a lifestyle free from drugs and alcohol, and to become an active and contributing member of society.

As well as giving you a furnished flat to live in, we offer practical support to help you get back on your feet.

We’ll encourage you to take the lead in creating your own Recovery Plan outlining your personal needs and aspirations. And we'll support you to work towards your goals and gain confidence in your ability to recover.

Applying for your own home can take 6 to 9 months. During that time we can support you to get involved in a range of opportunities such as volunteering, training or education. Once you’ve moved into your new home, we’ll be here to help you maintain your recovery.

The service will be primarily abstinence based, but may be available to people on methadone or similar who have achieved a period of stability, subject to careful assessment.
